The Golden Cactus Art Gallery

The Golden Cactus gallery features a more diverse variety of art.  This comes from the United States, Mexico in general, Baja, and even Canada!  The artists all portray their vision and experience of living in Cabo.  The owner is very friendly and will help you out if you want to take something from the gallery home.  The souvenir ranges it’s as wide as going from small trinkets to huge paintings.  Undoubtedly, you can find something for everyone in Cabo!

Art Gallery of  Hector Estrada

This gallery features paintings and sculptures by Hector Estrada.  In fact, you can probably tell already, he is the one who runs the gallery.  The interesting part is that you also have an amazing opportunity to take an art lesson while you are there! Museums offer an educational experience in Cabo

One of the wisest and safest choice to find knowledge in a fun way will always be visiting museums.  For a more historical experience, these are the places you should visit.  As they’re full of artifacts and history, you can walk around and learn so much in just one visit.

The Pasado Marina museum

The Pasado Marina is a beautiful museum that documents the fishing history in the area.  This place exhibits various instruments, and taxidermist’s representations of endemic fish, as well as historical photos.  This museum is nothing more than a beautiful tribute to the ocean.

The Natural History Museum Los Cabos

The Natural History Museum has several paleontological and geological collections. And, also houses different specimens of birds, reptiles, and marine creatures.  It’s a fun crash-course in history in the length of seven rooms.  This place is also full of the various instruments used to observe and investigate all these geological collections of Cabo.

El Museo de Las Californias

The Museo de Las Californias it’s a small museum, but houses very interesting artifacts.  These relics date from all the way back to the explorer Hernan Cortez.    We’re talking way back to the 1500’s!

Cooking classes in Cabo

With great places to check out like The Casa de Colores School of Traditional Mexican Cooking, you have the option to learn more about the local gastronomy as you prepare it yourself!   The greatest thing is that private and small group lessons are available most of the time.  There, they’ll teach you about authentic Mexican recipe techniques and ingredients.  Not only do you get to have a one-of-a-kind experience, but you also learn new cooking tricks that you can bring back home with you!

Nature sightseeing around Cabo
