La Favorita located in El Pedregal
Situated within El Pedregal, an amazing master-planned community, La Favorita is a beautiful ocean-front home. It was originally designed by Alex Tapia back in 1991. When it was first designed and built by Alex, it was a very customized and personalized home. In fact, he modeled it after Spanish architecture.
Three prominent details reflecting the Spanish architecture is the long entry way and the many columns that were originally in place. Then of course the many arches throughout the house gave it exquisite Spanish character.
Recently, Alex remodeled this magnificent Cabo home and decided to put it up for sale. As Alex tells Nick, he brought this house to the 21st century. And as you can see in the video, it’s quite modern and elegant everywhere you look. In the video, Alex expresses that he has completely changed the “bones” of the house to come back to life in this modern time.

Now living in Los Cabos for the last 45 years. In fact, Alex was the second architect to arrive in Los Cabos, back when it was first recognized as something more than a simple fishing village. Before Los Cabos, Alex originally came from Mexico City. And over the last 45 years, Alex has designed 170 houses in Los Cabos. What an amazing legacy indeed!
