As Nick Fong and Dan Binetti meet, Dan mentions how he’s lived in Todos Santos since 2004. And, he’s been working full time in real estate that entire time. REVEALED: Rancho La Pastora
Ever since the current home owners purchased this amazing property back in 2008, the home has been fully remodeled and expanded. As Dan states, they did everything correctly. From “Pebble Tec” in the pool to over 7000 square feet of travertine time, this home has been renewed. There are three bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms.
Rancho La Pastora was built in 1974. But since then, it has been remodeled and expanded. In the video, see the original photos that are shown – you can see exactly how it looked back then. Interestingly, this oceanfront home was the first one built in the area. And being the first there, it was “grandfathered in” as rules fell into place after other homes were built. That means, it is set further out, closer to the ocean than the current building restrictions allow.
One great advantage to this property is the line, or limit to where construction may occur. To begin, the gazebo is the closest structure to the beach. As a result, any new construction can be built out to that line of the gazebo – the limit. What a great way to take advantage of being so close to the ocean.

With the home sitting on just under 10,000 square meters (two-and-a-half acres), Rancho La Pastora has about 100 meters (about 300 feet) of oceanfront property. Dan states that is very rare indeed. Also, the home only takes up 30% of the land. That means there are many opportunities for expansion in the future.

The current owner has a background in bars and restaurants. In fact, the owner, his father, and his family have owned many restaurants. Therefore, the kitchen design is very well thought out. For example, it has a bar area with an ice maker and a sink. Also, the freezer is in the pantry, which means the home has a very large refrigerator.
