It’s a house in Puerta del Mar and Nick is about to put it on the market for sale.
The development of Puerta del Mar
Situated within the beautiful El Tezal, Rodrigo developed a small community of 20 houses in Puerta del Mar. It’s located in a very convenient location. Fortunately, this community is only five minutes or less from everything. Watch Rodrigo as he explains that it’s five minutes from town and only three minutes from Costco, the gas station, and hospitals. And of course, there are many more places within five minutes time.
Since it’s a small community, there are no crowds, and everything there is well controlled. Puerta del Mar is a gated community, so each house in Puerta del Mar is very secure.
Learn a little about Rodrigo Cabeza de Vaca
In his story, Rodrigo started at the bottom. But then, he worked his way up to finally become quite a prominent individual in Cabo. As such, he owns a bunch of real estate and several restaurants.
Rodrigo was raised in the beautiful city of Guadalajara, Mexico. After moving to Cabo, he started working at El Squid Roe as a bus boy. But before arriving in Cabo, he worked at various places throughout Mexico. After that, he was professionally trained as a cook, both in New York City and in Toronto, Canada. That was an adventure indeed!
Rodrigo finally became very successful after working hard and staying focused. As his reward, he now owns several restaurants within Cabo. Also, he owns a lot of real estate, as Nick mentions in the video. In fact, that is exactly how Nick met Rodrigo. Rodrigo contacted Nick so he could list one of his properties. It’s a house in Puerta del Mar.

Nick Fong mentions that the listing is being sold as a duplex. This was Rodrigo’s original idea. In the home, there are three bedrooms on the lower level along with a swimming pool. Then on the upper level, there are four more bedrooms along with four bathrooms. Finally, down below you’ll find a four-car garage.

Nick has a proposal for Rodrigo’s house in Puerta del Mar
Watch as Nick Fong tells Rodrigo that he would like to make it a single house in Puerta del Mar. In the video, he goes on to say that he’d like to make it one seven-bedroom, seven full-bathroom, two half bathroom house, instead of a duplex.
Rodrigo responds by telling Nick about his process for developing his original concept. Then he explains how he changed his mind in the middle of the project. He had the idea of renting the two units, as a business, if the duplex didn’t sell.
Ready to sell, he tells Nick that he’ll sell it as a single unit if Nick recommends that. Nick is confident that it will sell quickly, being such a fabulous house in an exquisite location.
