This week on The Nick Fong PODCAST, Cynthia Vilalta, one of the sales listing agents for Ronival Real Estate, takes us on a journey through her path to the Real Estate Sales field. Then, she shares with us how she found her dream life. Finally, Cynthia, while the real estate market has been growing steadily, she’s been able to help many of her clients find the life they dream of by buying in Los Cabos.
Nick has known Cynthia Vilalta since 2003, back when she was working in the hotel industry with Nick’s wife Rocio. And prior to getting into real estate, Cynthia purchased a private school franchise named Jymborie, since she saw nothing available for children in Los Cabos. In fact, that’s where Nick’s children attended school. Now, read on to see why Los Cabos is a destination where you can have the life you want while living it.
Nick’s interview with Cynthia Vilalta
Originally from Mexico City, Cynthia Vilalta has been living in Los Cabos for 21 years now. She tells Nick that she moved to Los Cabos “to live the life.” But after running Jymborie for 10 years, she got into real estate because of Nick himself. At Ronival Real Estate, Cynthia started with long-term rentals, which she managed for three years.
After managing long-term rentals, Cynthia Vilalta transitioned into sales, about two years ago. As she tells Nick in the video, now she’s very happy. She loves real estate sales and she doesn’t know why she didn’t go this before. She loves knowing the older and newer communities and introducing new people to those communities for possible home ownership. And, she loves building those great relationships with her new clients.
Cynthia tells Nick that prior to selling real estate, she didn’t think she had the capacity to be in sales. Nick responds by saying that was the same with him, prior to selling real estate. Cynthia discovered that sales came easy to her, once she took the position in sales. To explain, she says that when you truly trust in the product you’re selling, in her case the Los Cabos destination, it’s easy to sell it since you’re excited about it.
The great Los Cabos lifestyle
Los Cabos is famous for many things, but two really stand out above the rest. To begin, discover great championship golf. As you’ll see, Los Cabos hosts some of the best golf courses in the world. Many of them were designed by the greatest names in golf, like Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus, who’s designed five golf courses in Los Cabos so far.
Next is fishing competitions. Hosted by Bisbees, these are the biggest fishing competitions in the world, with payouts in the millions of dollars.

When you arrive, you’ll find the famous Cabo San Lucas, which boasts the greatest nightlife scene in Los Cabos.
