About Eat Cabo Catering and Miguel López
Located in San Jose del Cabo, Miguel tells Nick that they are basically located all over Los Cabos since they bring the catering to you. In the video, Nick asks Miguel about the extents of the area they cover. In response, Miguel says that they go as far as Todos Santos and Loreto when they it’s possible to do so.
Originally from Pachuca, the capital of Hidalgo and near Mexico City, Miguel left for collage when he was 18 years old. His major was in Hospitality. And since he grew up with a love of cooking, he was able to combine the two with Eat Cabo Catering.
Back in the year 2000, Miguel moved to Los Cabos after visiting his friends there. After interviewing with The Westin Hotel, he worked for them for seven years honing his catering craft with the best-of-the-best. Then, he started his own catering business and the rest was history.
Miguel’s friendship with Nick Fong
Starting in 2007, Miguel became Nick’s first friend in Los Cabos. Back then, they played tennis and went to parties regularly. Also, they traveled together from time-to-time. Finally, they started the catering business together, first as a smoothy and juice bar. But as Nick says in the video, he no longer has any part in Miguel’s business. Miguel has taken it to great success since then.
