Vidanta has announced their return to Cabo Bay in November and December of 2020!  There are two giant developments to mention here.  One is Vindanta’s newest resort currently under construction in East Cape along the Sea of Cortez, just north of Cabo San Lucas.  The other is the launch of Mexico’s first luxury cruise line by Vidanta, which will travel the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Cortez, and the Caribbean.

After creating their first hotel back in 1974, Paraiso Mazatlan, they now have seven locations throughout Mexico.  And, they have reached their goals for excellence after their hotel in Nuevo Vallarta was names One of the Top 10 Hotels in Mexico.  It was also named one of the  Top 100 Hotels in the world. Now, their latest hotel will be Vidanta East Cape, which is currently under construction.  This will be their best destination yet!

To go the extra mile, Vidanta did something no other resort group in Mexico has ever done.  As mentioned, they have started Mexico’s first luxury cruise line.  Their fist ship will set sail soon and visit all seven Vidanta destinations throughout Mexico:  East Cape, Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, Acapulco, Puerto Peñasco, and Puerto Vallarta.  What a great adventure that will be.  Now read on to uncover this amazing development by Vidanta in Mexico.

Norman and Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses

Tucked within a 2,000-acre master-planned resort community on the East Cape, a short 10-minute drive from the historic downtown area of San Jose del Cabo, Puerto Los Cabos is a 27-hole golf resort, featuring three distinct courses designed by two of the sport’s most legendary figures, Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus.

The Norman Course, a 3,590-yard, par-36 signature design by Greg Norman, has over 400 feet of elevation change. The breathtaking ride begins in the desert foothills and meanders down towards the Sea of Cortez, allowing golfers to enjoy oceanfront golf at its finest, with the crescendo being the beautiful 7th hole. With its large, flashed-faced bunkers used to signpost the fairways and defend the greens, the layout reveals Nor- man’s fondness for Australia’s classic Sandbelt courses.

The Nicklaus I Course, a 3,758-yard, par-36 signature design by Jack Nicklaus, features rippling fairways, undulating greens and sculpted bunkers. Known as the original back nine, the Nicklaus I Course also begins in the foothills, offering unique views of the San Jose del Cabo valley, before heading down to the Sea of Cortez, highlighted by the breathtaking oceanfront holes, the 5th and 6th, which are naturally carved into the shoreline.
