
Welcome to this latest video from Nick Fong. Today, Nick introduces Berenice who recently joined Ronival Real Estate in their call center just a couple months ago. She’s an inside sales agent there. For some background, Nick is the founder and broker of Ronival Real estate and he’s grown Ronival to become the largest and fastest-growing firm in all of Baja Sur.
Although previously a real estate agent, Berenice chose to work in Ronival Real Estate’s call center to better-learn the foundational aspects of selling real estate in Los Cabos and Baja Bur. Nick asks her to reveal her reasons for taking this path. Then he announces that she is now a real estate sales agent with Ronival.

About Berenice and her experience
Filmed at the Ronival call center, Nick finds Berenice working away. She was previously working for another real estate brokerage in Los Cabos for about a year. As Nick puts it, Berenice decided she wanted to learn how to do it “the right way.” As such, she joined Nick’s inside sales team at Ronival Real Estate about two months ago.
Working in the call center, she took a step back as Nick puts it, to make server steps forward in her real estate career. Now that she’s learned from the best in the region, she’s getting a promotion! In less than two months, she will be a real estate sales agent with Ronival Real Estate.
As she tells Nick in the video, Berenice wanted to be prepared for success. She goes on to explain that she wanted to be able to provide the best service to their clients – both buyers and sellers. After learning more about the target market – those who Ronival attracts, she has learned how to approach them properly.
After being an ISA (Inside Sales Agent) for two months now, Berenice tells Nick that she’s now 100% prepared to be a real estate sales agent. And after Nick asks her how excited she is about being a real estate sales agent, she tells him that she’s 1000% excited. Also, she says that she wouldn’t do any of it differently – Ronival has provided her with the tools to succeed.
There are many ways to become a real estate agent
As you’ll see, there are many ways to become a real estate agent. But, there’s what I call ‘the easiest way to become a real estate agent.” Simply contact a real estate broker. But make sure you pick a broker with many agents that you can leverage. They will know the process.
If you can convince a good real estate broker to hire you, they’ll walk you through the whole process. But if you don’t seek out a good real estate broker, or if you want to do it by yourself – DIY real estate agent, you certainly can do it. Number one, you need to get licensed. To get a license, you must pay the fee and go through the education program.
Once you have your license, get affiliated with listings right away. You need to have a platform by which you can put your properties for sale and also see other properties.
The most popular platform in Baja California Sur is the Baja MLS (Multiple Listings Service). But in order to become a member of the Baja MLS, you must work for a broker or you must become a broker yourself, which requires at least two years of experience.
